Rautis in Poniklé is an exceptional place where you can learn about the traditional production of blown glass beads and bead ornaments. This handmade production belongs to the unique crafts of the Krkonoše Mountains and is registered on the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
The trip is ideal for families with children, creative visitors and for days when the weather is not favorable for mountain hikes. During the visit, you will have a look at the production, see the finished ornaments and, according to the current offer, you can also try your own creations.
Poniklá is only a short distance from the cottage, so you can also go here for a shorter morning or afternoon program. You can combine the trip with a walk around the area or with other stops in the western Giant Mountains.
