About the trip

A popular trip in the Bohemian Paradise with viewpoints, rocks, the romantic Pantheon and the possibility of a walk around the Jizera.

Malá Skála belongs to the most beautiful places in the Czech Paradise. It offers a combination of rock viewpoints, the Jizera River, the romantic Pantheon and the distinctive ridge of the Dry Rocks.

The trip can be adjusted according to time and fitness. A shorter option can be just a walk around the Mala Skály and to the Pantheon, a longer circuit will add viewpoints, forest paths and views of the Dry Rocks.

The place is suitable for families with older children, couples and tourists who want to get to know a beautiful part of the Bohemian Paradise outside the most famous Prachovské Rocks. In the high season, expect more visitors and it is better to arrange parking in the morning.

Practical tips

Doprava

The journey by car from the cottage is suitable as a half-day or full-day trip to the Bohemian Paradise.

Snacks

In Malá Skála you will find refreshment options, especially in season. On a longer route, your own drink and snack are useful.

The best time

Spring, summer and early autumn are the most beautiful. Rock and forest sections can be slippery after rain.

Appropriate footwear

We recommend sturdier hiking shoes, especially if you walk a longer circuit through the viewpoints.

The season

Malá Skála is popular in the high season, so it pays to go in the morning and have a reserve for parking.
