About the trip

A quieter mountain trip to the eastern Krkonoše Mountains with the mysterious Dvorský les, meadows, views and beautiful nature.

Rýchory belongs to the less busy but very beautiful parts of the Giant Mountains. They offer mountain meadows, forest paths, views and the special atmosphere of the Dvorský les, which seems a bit mysterious and fairytale-like.

The trip is suitable for more active tourists, couples and families with older children. The route can be planned as a shorter walk around the Rýchory Mountains, or as a longer mountain circuit depending on fitness and weather.

The Rýchory Mountains are ideal if you want to get to know a quieter part of the Krkonoše Mountains away from the biggest tourist centers. Suitable footwear, water and monitoring the weather are a matter of course for a longer route.

Practical tips

Doprava

Rýchory is further away than the western part of the Krkonoše Mountains, so it's a good idea to set off in the morning and plan the trip as a longer program.

Snacks

Snack options are more limited than in resorts, so we recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks.

The best time

The best time is spring, summer and autumn. After rain, forest sections can be wet and slippery.

Appropriate footwear

For a longer route, comfortable hiking shoes are necessary, ideally with a firmer sole.

The weather

Check the forecast before you go. In the mountains, the weather can change more quickly than in the valley.

Plan your stay and explore the surroundings

We will be happy to advise you on trips and recommend the best places according to your wishes.
