About the trip

A beautiful trip to the Jizera Mountains with a picturesque settlement, mountain meadows and educational trails around peat bogs.

Jizerka is one of the most picturesque mountain villages in the Czech Republic and is a great destination for guests who want to experience a different atmosphere than in the Giant Mountains. The trip offers traditional mountain cottages, open countryside, peace and pleasant routes leading around bogs and viewpoints.

The trip is suitable for families with children, couples and nature lovers. Shorter or longer routes can be chosen depending on time and condition. The big attraction is the calm mountain atmosphere, wide views and the unique character of the protected area.

We recommend that you expect colder weather than in the valley and take comfortable shoes. Jizerka is beautiful all year round, but it has its greatest charm in clear weather from spring to autumn.

Refreshment options depend on the season, for a longer trip, bring your own drink and snack.

The best time

The clearest weather is from spring to autumn, when the meadows and mountain atmosphere stand out.
